Theresa Medeiros posted a nice picture of Clive Owen over on Squawk Radio today and mentioned that he’s one of those guys who has a fabulous voice. You know, the kind who could read the phone book and you’d willingly listen. So, I’m curious…what guys (other than your significant others) have the kind of voice that makes you go all gooey? Have they inspired any of the heroes in your books? And Mary, I know EXACTLY who you’re going to say. :)

Home improvement update: Finished everything I wanted to today. After painting the ceiling a bright white I realized that my walls really aren’t white. They’re some sort of icky color that’s masquerading as white. Well, as of tomorrow, they’ll begin to be blue, three light blue walls and one darker blue accent wall. When I’m finished I’ll post a picture of my masterpiece. :)

I TOTALLY agree about Clive. Gerard, of course, and Sawyer - that drawl. George Clooney has a nice voice, too. I think voices have a lot to do with sex appeal. I remember my friend Cindi had a HUGE crush on ice skater Phillipe Candeloro, back in the early 90s. He was gorgeous, built, talented. But when he talked, she fell out of love with him immediately. I was watching something the other day and thinking, “Man, he would be so cute if he didn’t have that voice.” Of course, now I can’t remember who it was…..

Oh wow, I was a huge Phillipe Candeloro fan too. He was such a hoot, very showy compared with many of the more traditional figure skaters.

Phillipe was great - so fun to watch. We actually got to see him in person down here one summer. And then we heard him talk….

I know you said “not your significant other,” but I have to add mine to the list. I swear, my dh’s voice on the phone still stirs me whenever I hear it…even after almost fifteen years.

    It’s low, mellow, and sexy.

    Yum.

I remembered! Jack from Lost could be such a hunk, but I don’t like his voice. It’s too high. Same with Martin Henderson, who was in Bride and Prejudice. He has the dimples and the eyes, but not a nice voice.
