Busy day today — I judged three contest entries and am working on an article for the Romance Writers Report. Unfortunately, while judging one of the contest entries, I had to give some low scores. I don’t like doing this. I always try to give some constructive and hopeful comments to lessen the sting of the scores, but I don’t want to give a person a false sense of how good their work is when it really needs a good bit of revision to make it submittable. It’s a delicate balance as a judge.
During my lunch break, I watched last night’s episode of Supernatural. Wow, what a combination of hilarity (Dean dancing to Asia’s “Heat of the Moment”) and poignancy (poor Sam having to relive watching Dean die in different ways over and over and over again). My two truly laugh-out-loud moments were Dean’s “Heat of the Moment” dancing and when Sam told Dean that he peed himself when he got hit by a car. I was here alone in my house and I was laughing myself silly.

I absolutely love dean. His character is great, I love his smart mouth comments. You are so right about the dancing to “Heat of The Moment” and the peed himself scene. He looked so shocked and then said “Well, Of course I peed myself.” My husband I and were laughing through the whole episode. I just hope they don’t kill him off because of that deal he made. I don’t think that I can watch the show with just Sam. I just don’t think it will be any good with out Dean. Kinda of like Buffy the Vampire slayer every one is was made the show good, not just Buffy. That is how I feel about Supernaturals. The next episode looks really good too.

I totally agree, Rebekah. It just wouldn’t be as interesting without Dean, even though I’m a big Sammy fan. There has got to be a way to save Dean. A huge part of what makes the show fantastic is the dialogue and relationship between the brothers.

Yeah, from Day 1–being the day Jared and Jensen read together and the PTB said, “Oh, yeah!”–this show has been about the chemistry between the brothers. So I’m not worried that Dean will actually die.
Those were two of my favorite moments, too, Trish, but they were topped by the simultaneous conversation. I start giggling every time I think about it!
“Sam Winchester keeps a ruler by the bed…”

I must be one of the few who doesn’t watch much TV at all but my daughter loves that show and the background of our computer is picture from Supernatural.
Sounds like you have been very busy Trish.
Have Fun

Natalie, that simultaneous conversation was hilarious too. I wonder how many goofs they got for the blooper reel on that one.
Thanks, Helen. Your daughter sounds like a smart gal.
