Some people have wondered if getting to such a dark place for his portrayal contributed to his sleep problems that eventually caused his accidental drug overdose. Unfortunately, there are those who will maintain he only gets one (if he does, and he should) BECAUSE of the premature death, which is too bad, because he totally deserves it. And I should know. Because I said totally. That seals it. Have you seen Tropic Thunder? If you like satire, it's great. Ah, yes, Heath Ledger. Premature death or not, he deserves a nod. I saw it in San Francisco at the theater next to the conference hotel on Sunday night. The conference was over and I couldn't take any more sightseeing.
