The first blindside of the new Survivor season came in week 2 when Mary from the Fans team got the boot. Chet was by far the weakest link this week, but Joel’s move to take out Mary, thus taking away Mikey B’s closest ally, might prove smart as the game progresses. And I noticed that after orchestrating that vote, Joel voted for Tracy. Perhaps it was so he could say he didn’t vote for Mary. On the other hand, Joel might now have a big target on his back. Even though he can be bossy and in your face, I hope he sticks around for awhile. He makes things interesting, and he’s a big physical threat against James on the other team.
I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day. I can remember many a heartbroken Valentine’s Day from my teen years, but it’s a special day now since it’s the day my hubby proposed to me. It’s also our nephew’s birthday. Little Dude turned 5 today.
I’m in the final 100 pages of The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray, and I can’t wait to find out what happens. I wonder how much I can read tonight before conking out. Lots of stuff on my to-do list for tomorrow, so I need to get some rest. Still, you all know how it is when you get close to the end of a great book and just HAVE to know how it ends.
