Trish, another Firefly fan! At DragonCon, I was able to have my photo taken with Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk.

Jane, I'm just glad I'm going to be busy between now and the new episodes. Hopefully, I'll get a lot done between now and Jan. 15 so I can really enjoy the rest of the season.

Natalie, I didn't know Lana was part of the original mythology. I will admit that I'm not sure I've read many, if any, Superman comics. The only ones I read with any regularity were the X-Men when I was in college.

I stopped watching Smallville last year, I think it was (maybe even the year before) because it was getting so ridiculous. I never liked Lana, though she is part of the original Superman mythology, as his first love. Hearing what you're saying about Chloe, I'm glad I didn't restart watching it when I heard Oliver was coming back. Her creepy smile at the end of the last new episode (it's right before Supernatural, I always catch the last minute!) was frightening.

I was wondering about Chloe's creepy smile at the end, too. The show won't be back with new episodes until after the new year.

Separated at birth obviously ;)

Justin DEF not hard to look at. And a funny, funny guy. Am jealous of you for DragonCon, especially since I'm a huge Firefly fan too.

Now. On the subject of Smallville. How much of a geek do you want me to be on this subject? Think carefully before you answer... :) I think Chloe will be de-Brainiaced, probably in the next episode cos I know - and am ridiculously excited - about the Legion coming to Smallville for the first time thanks to Geoff god-of-comics Johns. But what I'm fascinated to find out is if she re-learns the big secret. The writing this year is SO much better than it's been in a while. So I'm hoping it's not the last season. Plenty of room there to do the death by Doomsday arc as a season cliffhanger. I think we'll know pretty soon after Christmas though... Have to say I'll be devastated when it ends :(

LOL, so many things in common, Trish. :) I agree with the Tom Welling comment. He is mighty fine to look at.

That's awesome that you saw them at ComicCon. Justin Hartley is far from hard to look at either. :) I went to DragonCon for the first time this year and got to meet some people from Battlestar Galactica, Firefly and Buffy (James Marsters). VERY fun.

So what do you think about Chloe's fate? And do you think this is the last season for the show?

Oooohhhh you're not the only Trish who is a romance writer and is of, erm, a certain age, who watches Smallville. Though when I say watch that is much closer to 'obsessively' than it is to 'every now and again'...

I'm LOVING season eight so far. And new mature, pro-active Clark falling for Lois is making it addictive viewing for me. (I forgive you for shipping Lana and Clark by the way - even briefly) The Superman fan in me has finally got the show she's been waiting seven years for. The Tom Welling fan in me, well, she's a very happy bunny. The spoiler addict in me is struggling with the most ridiculously long hiatus in the history of... history...

I went to Comic Con before Nationals this year and was at the Smallville panel. Justin Hartley and Allison Mack looked just like they do onscreen. Go figure ;)
