Helen, I love American history (especially Colonia and frontier), so I knew when I saw the outlines on the grass outside that it was the site of a former frontier fort and just did a little exploring.

I’m very impressed you noted the view out of your window and took time to find out the history. I don’t think I even looked out of my window, nor stepped foot outside the hotel during the convention. The only parts of Pittsburgh I saw where when we drove around looking for a gas station on the way home LOL.

terrio, oh no! I didn’t know you were there. I didn’t have books to sign yet (next year!), so I was among the milling hordes, talking to my friends who were signing. We need to make sure we meet the next time we’re in the same building.

Anna sent me this way to check out the pics. Lovely. I attended the booksigning and I’m so bummed I missed you. And this reminds me I forgot to visit Colleen Gleason too. Dang, I knew I should have run down every row instead of jumping around. That room was just so packed and I had my entire family in tow. LOL! They’d never been to something like that so they sort of weighed me down.
