Finally got started on my revisions to my Intrigue book today. Got through the first four chapters (71 pages). Would have done more but I’m judging contest entries for my local RWA chapter’s contest. Must have those done by tomorrow.

Here’s a question for everyone. I’ve got a trip to Chicago coming up soon. For those of you who have been there, what are some of the coolest things you did and saw?

Great news on the revisions, Trish!

I’ve never been to Chicago, but I’d love to see Wrigley Field.

I don’t know if you’d consider this a sight to see, but you have to get some Garrett’s popcorn.

There’s one shop on the Miracle Mile; you can’t miss it. The line is usually out the door–for good reason.

The best thing to get is a mixture of carmel corn and cheese corn. Honest. Get’em mixed together.

Fresh. Hot. OMG. To die for. The absolute best PMS snack too–it’s sugar and salt rolled into one….

But I digress. Garrett’s popcorn. Gotta get some. Hot and fresh. (ordering it on the internet just doesn’t cut it.)

And as far as other places to see…you can go to the Aquarium, which is nice. You can also go to the Borders there on Michigan Ave and have a coffee and look down over at the people walking along Mich Ave. (Being the book lover that I know you are, I’m sure Borders will be on your list regardless.)

A great eating place is Houston’s–they have fantastic ribs.

Hope you have fun!!! Let us know how you do, and if you get popcorn…have some for me!!!

Colleen, who hasn’t been to Chicago for two years and misses Garrett’s madly!
