You ever have one of those times when everything that has to be done now or yesterday hits at once? I’m in the midst of one of those. I’m trying to finish revisions on my Intrigue manuscript, but I’ve not had the chance to look at them today. I worked on freelance projects and a volunteer project that has a deadline. Granted the freelance stuff brings in a little money, so I can’t complain. And I was just able to read through a stylebook for one of the companies I’m freelancing for while walking on the treadmill, so there’s some multitasking going on. Still, I keep walking by my dining room table and seeing all my manuscript revisions spread across it, waiting for me to return. I’ve still got to finish a freelance editing project that has a tight deadline before I can return to that fictional world. Hopefully I’ll get there by tomorrow night. And hopefully by Sunday night, I’ll have this round of revisions done, typed into the computer and sent out for a read-through by a friend who is VERY generous with her time. Okay, end of two-minute break to post this message. Back to the salt mines…

Oh, my God! I have spent a few of my limited minutes at work reading your blog and looking at your pics from your trip. You seem to dress a wee bit different when whoring around Nevada than you did in the office. You clean up real good!

    Good luck with freelance edits.

Did I mention, I believe I get your work every month? ;) *Snort* Did I also mention my hubby works for a certain electric company?

Really, Kendra? Does he work for MLEC? After December, I don’t expect to have any more articles in the magazine since they hired someone in May to replace me on the staff. I just agreed to finish out that series of articles since I had started it and they were training the new guy.

    Small world, Trish and Kendra!

Trish, I do know tired, with the company last week and school starting and the critique group and the rewriting before I can move forward. I went back to bed just now, slept for another couple of hours. That should hold me till my nap ;).

Can’t wait to read it, BTW!

And I happen to like those meetings. I have several friends who teach and they do love those free bags.
