We all likely had imaginary friends when we were kids. Some kids made up people and gave them names. Me, being the little TV fan I’ve always been, pretended I was on Gilligan’s Island, hanging out with Laura Ingalls Wilder on the prairie, or riding with the Pony Express riders of The Young Riders.

Come on, admit it, you’ve imagined what it would be like to have a particular TV character as your bestest buddy. That’s why I found this article interesting. And look who is first on the second page, the one listing the people the author would like to be friends with — smart lady.

So, which TV characters, past or present would you like to befriend? Which imaginary TV world would you like to live in for a day?

Whedonverse Quote of the Day:

Wesley and Cordelia impersonating Angel and Buffy:

Wesley: “Kiss me.”
Cordelia: “Bite me.”
Wesley grabs Cordelia and pretends to bite her neck while growling.
Angel: “You can both bite me.”

Do movies count? If so, I’ll say anything where I’m Matthew McConaughey’s love interest. ;)

He can be my imaginary friend anytime. ;)

The Supernatural brothers. But only if Daddy John was around.

Or Cicely, Alaska, with Northern Exposure.

NYC with the Sex and the City girls.

Oh, golly. Where to start? *g*

Growing up, I went to school with the Sweathogs on Welcome Back, Kotter. LOL! Earlier on, I went to Seattle as a bride (who cares if I was a pre-teen at the time? *g*) on Here Come the Brides and I was the “unknown” daughter on both Bonanza and The Big Valley.

Wow, this could get really long. Maybe I’ll blog about the same thing today. :)

But first, right now I’d want to live in the town of Eureka. And unlike silly, clueless Alison, I’d be hooking up with the sheriff pronto! :)

Janice, I’m shocked by your answer. :)

Mary, I totally agree with your first two. Having never watched Sex and the City, can’t comment on that one. But Dean and Sam — oh, that would be fun!

Tori, I know what you mean about the sheriff on Eureka. I need to see the season finale. I missed it because it was on opposite the season premiere of Veronica Mars, which I love.

Dammit, I was gonna say Sam and Dean. :) Unlike Mary, I’m not very enamored of the dad. But the relationship between Dean and Sam is sooooo great, I want to be their little sister.

Yeah, that’s what I want. *snort*

When I was a kid, I “made movies” with my best friend all the time. For a while, they all starred Henry Thomas. :) But other than that, I had a LOT of imaginary friends.

    Sister - yeah, Natalie ;)
