Hubby and I were talking about superhero powers tonight and which one we’d like to have. He hasn’t decided yet, but I think I’d like to fly like Superman.

Part of the reason I’d like the flying ability is because in real life I’m afraid of flying, so it’d be cool to just be able to take off without a jet engine. 
Hubby’s response was, “Why do all the superheroes who fly never run into bugs or anything?” Snort!
So, if you were able to pick one superpower to have for yourself, which of the following would it be and why?
1. Flying
2. Invisibility
3. Super speed
4. Super vision or hearing
5. Ability to create fire out of thin air
6. Super strength

Ok, that is soo funny, Trish. I can just see him saying that, and laughing. That is hilarious, and a good point, too.
I tease my husband and say that if I were a superhero it would be something like Captain Brainstorm, because I just love coming up with lists of alternatives when decisions have to made (it is the actual coming to a decision that alludes my powers, especially in restaurants…I am always the last one to order, ha ha)
But, really, I would really want a super power like super protection or my body becomes a super shield that protects against anything….nuclear blasts, hurricanes, strep throat, etc.

My husband wants invisibility. I want to fly. I dream about flying, and it’s kind of a wistful thing for me.
In the superhero book I just wrote, my heroine is an empath. She can do all kinds of things with feelings–making her a superhero was no easy trick, though.

OK, I’ve made up my mind. While flying would be cool, and fire shooting appeals to the little pyromaniac, I think I’d take “The Force” if I had to choose.
The remote’s always somewhere I can’t reach it.
