Okay, I’d finally had it with the disaster my office was becoming. So after spending all of this morning working on the editorial calendar for my magazine job, I went into whirlwind cleaning/culling/organizing mode. You know how you have to make a hideous mess to clean up one? For a big chunk of today, it was impossible to take two steps in my office without stepping over a pile of paper/books/boxes/vacuum cleaners/etc. I’d say I’m about a quarter of the way done. I think after tomorrow, it’ll look much better, but I plan to spend what time I’m at home this weekend culling more paperwork on my desk and side table and in the filing cabinets. I now have several book deadlines to work toward, and I want to hit those beginning Monday morning. And I work MUCH better when my workspace is in good order. It’s just how my little leaning-Type A brain works.
Survivor Gabon update: Yay, Corinne is gone! Wow, was her farewell speech witchy or what? Seriously, she wishes all of her competitors other than Bob miserable lives? You know what they say about karma. I’ve read and heard some things that Sugar isn’t as sweet as she’s being portrayed on the episodes, but I have to admit I still like her. Even though he’s the last man standing in his alliance, though, I’m rooting for Bob. He was so sweet when his wife came to visit tonight.
So here is my list of who I’d like to see win, in order of preference:
1. Bob
2. Sugar
3. Matty
4. Susie
5. Crystal
6. Kenny
Wouldn’t it be ironic if that’s the exact opposite order it ends up being?

I was glad to see Corinne go, too. But not as much as I was glad to see Randy go. I don’t think I have ever disliked a Survivor contestant as much as I dislike him. What an obnoxious jerk! And while Bob may have gotten upset at Sugar’s extended laughter over Randy’s ousting, I was cracking up right along with her. *g* Even the guys on the jury were laughing!

I agree with your line-up and sadly, I agree that you might be right about it going in the opposite direction.
When Survivor first came out, I was ready to try out for it myself. Now that things keep getting nastier and nastier each new season, I’m content to just sit and watch them. There is now way I would survive their cut throat mentality out there. Although I would still like to try all those challenges.
Good luck on finishing the room. I can completely relate. I do much better when everything is in it’s place.

Tori, I agree. Randy was just awful.
Tami, with every little thing I get organized, I feel a little better.
