So, you all know about my home Internet woes the other day. Last night, the Internet in my hotel room didn’t work so I had to go to the lobby to check e-mail. Today, I get to the conference hotel for Romantic Times, and guess what. You got it — the Internet signal in my room doesn’t work! So, I’m in the lobby again. Oh well, at least I’m not paying out the nose for access like I usually do at conference hotels. Have you ever noticed that the more expensive the hotel, the smaller the room and the less you get for free? Hmm…

YES. And it drives me insane. Like all the patrons of the more expensive hotels must be rich, so they can afford to pay for every little thing. *humph*
The only thing I really hate that they make us pay for, though, is the WiFi.

Congratulations Rae Ann! Trish - I’m sorry but you have terrible internet luck! I hate not having it, and it seems whenever I *really need* it - it goes out.

Natalie, yes, I think free Internet access should be a basic human right.
You know, the good part of coming to the lobby to connect to the Internet is you see lots of people you know.
