I’ve blogged in the past about book trailers and about how very few of them really stand out. I’m always impressed when one does. Today, a member of an e-mail list I’m on posted about the trailer on her site for her upcoming book. I clicked on it, curious. Wow! This is what a book trailer should be like. Granted, Jessica Brody works for a film production company, but her book trailer is still something for all of us to aspire to.
Have you seen any really good book trailers? If so, let me know.

That was good! I’d worry about it being confusing, though. A lot of people would ignore or not see the “novel” designation and assume it was a movie or TV show.
Here’s a good one: http://jodywallace.com/videos.htm#A_SPELL_FOR_SUSANNAH

Oh, Jody’s is another I love. I just saw it about a week ago. It has a cute concept that makes it stand out. That’s what a book trailer needs — something to make it stand out from the sea of mediocre ones. My friend Anne Mallory has a cute cartoon one for her book, What Isabella Desires. Go to http://www.annemallory.com/ and scroll down until you see it in the right-hand sidebar.

That is a good one!
I like Diana Holquist’s, too. I wish I was that funny.
